What you've had to say about the borderers?
Just like to tell you how much we enjoyed your two shows at the Goolwa Wooden Boat Festival and have played your CD to death over the past two days. We are the old foggies who spoke to you in the tent and I told you how my partner would love me to have legs like you. Loved your rendition of Loch Lomond so much we are going to play it at our wedding and also take the CD to the Canary Islands where we can listen to it day and night. Will certainly be at your next concert in Adelaide Georgie
We were thrilled to receive your CD in the mail. Bill Bader had told us about your music and we were eager to listen to it. We can honestly say that we REALLY liked each and every song! That is not always the case with CDs we buy. We loved # 7 (The Simple Things in Life) and with your permission we would like to choreograph a dance to it. To be honest we already have one, it came so easy. We also liked # 1 "Higher Ground" and if # 7 doesn't work out, we'll pick that...Karla & Paul Dornstedt - Linedance Teachers, California, USA
Today is the last day of a line dance event we organized. We taught Bill Bader's dance to your song: "Not Going Home" and our's "Life's Simple Things" and the response was very positive. Our's was also taught in two classes in our area after we taught it in our class. That's a good sign. The response to the music is very positive. Would you mind if we used song # 1 on your CD ? We love the sound of Dixieland, it is very catchy...Karla & Paul Dornstedt - Linedance Teachers, California, USA
Just received the copy of the new CD: The Borderers & The Rough Diamond's "A Time for Change". Especially love the version of Hallelujah, however the whole CD is great and I think one of, if not your best. Well done and looking forward to seeing you perform around Geelong area again...Noel Dillon, Vic.
Hey guys Thanksssssssssss so much for the the "A Time For Change" CD. I looooooove it! I'm listening to it while typing to you. Well done! I think its the best I have heard! U deserve to go to Number 1 in the world.Sue and Grant. New Zealand
Great to see you in Griffith and watch you perform your magic. We really enjoyed your show as all did. Try and stay a bit longer next time - bring your own plane :-)Ken Rebetzke
We are really enjoying the new CD: "A Time For Change", both for listening and dancing to. We love the "Celtic-Zydeco" sound and the thought provoking lyrics. My friend, Bill Bader, introduced his dances to your music to the line dance community several years ago and we have been listening and dancing, ever since. I live in the sunny Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada, very close to the US border...Donna Verbeek
We are line dancers as well as dance instructors here in North Idaho. Along with giving weekly dance lessons, we also host monthly Country Dance Parties for our dance friends here in the area. Great fun, and we play a number of your songs from your previous albums ( We have them all ) for dances that we have learned and teach to the dancers: "The River is Deep", "Mama Knew Best", "Fat, Bald and Ugly", and of course, "Boot Scootin' Woman" to name a few. Now we have the Line Dance "Not Going Home" by Bill Bader that we just recently learned. We have danced with Bill at several workshops and dance events around the Northwest here in the USA. We downloaded the mp3 track you made available for your song "Angel of Love" and we love it. Will be sharing it with our family and friends. Thanks !! "KEEP SMILING AND KEEP DANCING" And in your case: "KEEP SINGING"Larry and Bobbie Wolf - USA
Yet again I feel alive. Having been to a BordererS gig I know there is life running through my veins. You guys have the ability to get the toe tappin' and the heart pumpin'. I hope they get you back to Koroit next year.Val Murphy, Vic
I want to thank you for the pleasure I got out of your performance at La Festa in Griffith NSW. It was my last day with my daughter before I went back to Nelson, New Zealand. That was the highight of my holiday and since I got the new CD then I have ordered Grace and the DVD - It was so uplifting and inspiring, and great words! I may even incorporate a few tracks in our church service (Spiritualist Church) where we are looking for new stuff on a spiritual theme. Loved it all, so thanks again.Lizz (Elizabeth) Johnston.
